Emma Sutton

I want to create a story with playful fashion that makes everyday life feel a little more exciting.

Who am I?

I’m Emma Sutton, a fashion and marketing professional with a love for personal style, creativity, and understanding what makes people connect with a product. With a background in fashion merchandising, luxury styling, and digital marketing, I’ve gained experience in everything from curating and styling product to analyzing trends and consumer behavior. I’m currently completing my MBA in Digital Marketing and am excited to bring together my creative eye and business mindset as I build my career in the fashion industry. Outside of work, I’m outgoing, curious, and always looking for inspiration, whether it’s through fashion, workouts, travel, people, or the little things that make life fun.

My goal is to build a career in the fashion industry where I can combine my creative eye with my background in marketing, merchandising, and consumer insights. I’m especially drawn to understanding why people connect with certain products and how trends, styling, and customer behavior influence the bigger picture of a brand. As I begin my career in New York City, I’m excited to learn, grow, and find where my strengths can make the biggest impact while doing something I genuinely love.

Hannah E

At Hannah E, I gained hands-on experience in luxury fashion by styling clients and learning to understand their individual needs, lifestyles, and personal tastes. I prioritized building relationships, helping customers find pieces that boosted their confidence while introducing them to new brands and trends. In addition to styling, I worked on visual merchandising and product selection, and learned how sales data and customer behavior inform buying, inventory, and merchandising decisions.

Pletta

At Pletta, I work as a Curator, creating personalized product edits based on each client’s individual style, preferences, and lifestyle. The role has strengthened my ability to identify trends, understand consumer behavior, and translate a client’s needs into thoughtful product recommendations. It has also given me experience with the digital side of fashion, combining styling and product curation to create a more personalized online shopping experience.

Gulfstream Aerospace

At Gulfstream Aerospace, I worked as a Global Insights Intern, where I developed skills in market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis within the global luxury market. One of my main projects was conducting a competitive deep dive on Bombardier, analyzing its positioning, customers, marketing, and overall presence within the private aviation industry. Through this experience, I learned how to turn research and consumer insights into meaningful takeaways that could support larger business and marketing decisions.

Georgia Southern University

Admissions Counselor

At Georgia Southern University, I worked as an Admissions Counselor, where I managed a large caseload of prospective students and helped guide them through important decisions throughout the admissions process. This role strengthened my communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills while teaching me how to understand the individual needs of different people. I also worked with enrollment data and Excel to identify trends and support recruitment strategies, giving me valuable experience using analytics to better understand behavior and make informed decisions.

Georgia Southern Swim Team

Born in New York and raised in Canada, I’m proud to be a dual Canadian-American citizen. Swimming eventually brought me back to the U.S, where I had the opportunity to compete as a Division I athlete at Georgia Southern University. During my time there, I served as Secretary of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where I became a primary liaison between the NCAA and GSU Athletics. I made it a priority to take advantage of every opportunity that came my way, both in and out of the pool. Swimming shaped so much of who I am, teaching me discipline, resilience, confidence, and the value of showing up every day. Although my competitive swimming career has come to an end, the determination and work ethic it gave me continue to shape the way I approach every new opportunity.
